The weekend was great. One girl in my cabin decided that she wanted to become a Christian!

It was nice to get away. This will sound funny, but I thought less about work at Pine Cove than I did in Denver. I really did get a chance to relax! The students had fun playing tetherball, pickleball, sand volleyball and Spongebob Squarepants Uno. They also got to go on a trail ride with some really sweet horses, and had a blast on the Blob in the pool. I spent most of my time just hanging out with students.

Our anniversary was nice. We returned from Pine Cove at about 4:30. After a nap, we went to Big Bowl for dinner, then went home and had some of our wedding cake. The cake was ok. I have a tough time eating things that have been in the freezer for a while. They have that "freezer taste" that I just can't get over. But the cake was actually moist! Wow!

After watching A Mighty Wind we went to sleep and didn't get up till around noon. It was good to take the day off from work. All the extra rest kept me from getting a cold. Though my hubby started feeling sick today...maybe I'm not out of the woods yet.
