I'm really, really ready for summer to be over. I'm already dreaming of crunching leaves, mesquite smoke billowing from chimneys, crisp wind, football, the Texas State Fair and a lazy Thanksgiving day. I'm ready for caramel apples, cozy sweaters and the Great Pumpkin. I want to take a walk and feel that icy wind on my face.

Our trip to Denver is coming up. Maybe Rocky Mountain National Park will give us a sneak peek of autumn temperatures.
