Finally, the cool weather is here. I finished knitting my first-ever hat just in time for the chilly temperatures. It's a cute beanie with earflaps and tassels that you can tie under your chin. I'm pretty pleased with it. The green I chose looks really pretty when it's knitted up. But it doesn't keep the wind out as much as I'd hoped it would. So I might make another one with a heavier yarn.

Right now I'm choosing paint colors for our house. I hope to get most of the rooms painted before the holidays. Otherwise I'll have to wait until after Christmas.

Things are already getting busy for us. Thanksgiving will be here before we know it!!
