You're gonna make it after all

Yesterday I borrowed Season One of the Mary Tyler Moore Show on DVD. I've always loved that show, but now that I'm in my late 20s I think I appreciate the humor more.

I see a lot of myself in Mary Richards. Unsure of herself. Trying so hard to please others. A dreamer. A victim of bad dates (there are some wacky experiences in my dating history).

She's my TV hero for sure.
