First off, I just want to say that my posts have been sparse because of blogger. Either it takes five minutes to load every page, or it freezes up after I finally finish my post (and also erases my post, mind you).

So let's try this again...

I turn a year older next week. And I can certainly tell that 26 is approaching, because wedding invitations are coming more regularly, and muchos de mi amigos are having babies. It's crazy. Exciting, but crazy. At least I've learned how to knit so that I can can start turning out tiny, baby-sized gifts.

Speaking of knitting, after completing about six scarves and a baby blanket, I think it's time for me to learn how to make a sweater. I'm pretty nervous about it. Maybe I'll start with a baby sweater - smaller, less time. And if it goes well, I think I might make this for myself.

I've been pretty stressed lately, so perhaps a big project is just what I need to give my brain a rest.
