latest goings on
The past two weeks have been fairly rough, to say the least. I don't care to write too many details about it at the moment. But I will note that the cherry on top is a $1200 estimate of repairs to Bugzilla. Most of that is due to replacing the timing belt. Sayonara, anticipated tax return.
I can't complain too much, though. She's about to hit the 100,000 mile mark, and in the grand scheme of things she's doing quite well. Hopefully these repairs will ensure that she runs at least 50,000 more. And whenever we've needed to make major repairs the funds have always come about. I just wish those funds would take us on vacation instead of fix the car once in a while, you know?
I finished my alpaca scarf this weekend. I'm really happy with it. And instead of paying $30 or $40 dollars for it, I only spent $12 on yarn and a few hours relaxing while watching movies. Can't beat that.
