good stock site
This week I'm finishing up two projects for the press. And I'm finishing them super-quickly thanks to a great stock photo site. At istockphoto.com, for just a few bucks you can download royalty free, hi-res images suitable for printing.
You buy credits in advance, and then when you download an image it subtracts the credits from your account. Low-res images suitable for web and most video will only cost a dollar, and hi-res images will cost two or three dollars.
Other sites, like comstock.com, charge a ton for hi-res images - $200-$300 dollars a pop.
