it's been a while

Don't worry, I didn't fall off the face of the earth. I've just been trapped under a pile of work.

I have a lot to accomplish by the end of this week. So, of course, I had to come down with a cold yesterday afternoon. At least I think it's a cold. I'll have to just wait and see if it gets worse. It started with a sore throat on Saturday.

I feel like I have a balloon in my head that keeps expanding. Eventually I suppose my head will burst like a snot-filled pinata. Lovely image.

A coworker just popped in and told me some lovely news. Apparently someone changed their kid's diaper (a #2, mind you) and left it in the trash can in our copy room. I can't believe it.
