ogres have layers
I've been working on a cover illustration all day and I'm starting to get a little nutty. Probably because I had way too much sugar at a Christmas party last night and I didn't get much sleep.
We rearranged our bedroom furniture last night. The project started at 10:30pm. We disassembled the bed, cleaned out everything we had stored under it, vacuumed, moved the bed, made the bed, moved a cedar chest, and then put storage junk back under the bed. All in all, it took 1 hour & 15 minutes. Not bad for a night's work.
So you're probably wondering about the title of this email. The sugar and lack of sleep left me feeling a big ogre-ish today. To make things worse, this cover illustration has a lot of layers and I'm getting really confused. Can't think a straight thought. So all of the photos and text look like a tangled web to me. I'm not sure if the design is turning out to be an onion or a parfait...I guess it can only get better from here.
