Long time no post. I returned from Christmas vacation to a ginormous to-do pile. I'm working on a brochure that's due at the press this Friday. Today I finally finished the inside of it. Now I have two days to create the cover and make all necessary corrections. Not too shabby.
This Christmas I finally became adept at knitting. I whipped up 3 or 4 scarves in just 2 weeks. And now I have the knitting bug and I don't know how long it will last. So to test myself, I've begun a larger project - a baby blanket for my new niece or nephew. I estimate it'll take me about 50 or 60 hours to complete it. And then we'll see if I still like the quirky process of wielding chopstick-like implements to create something from a wee ball of yarn.
