A random rant
For those apartment dwellers out there...Isn't it annoying when you pull up to your gate, and there's someone in front of you at the code box who doesn't know the gate code? They poke, and prod, and scroll through the phone directory (which doesn't work too well at our place), and they just won't give up. Meanwhile there are 2 or 3 cars pulling up behind them, who indeed live in the complex and know the code. But the poor guy keeps tap, tap, tapping on the numbers in vain, not stopping to think that maybe the now 4 or 5 cars behind him might be able to open the gate if given a chance.
