On the day of our anniversary, we took a catamaran trip to some of the remote keys. First, we attempted to snorkel. I say "attempted" because the water wasn't kind that day. The tropical storm was far away, but for some reason the sand was churned up and we couldn't see our hands 3 inches in front of our faces. That actually made it a little scary.

The water was clearer at the other key where we kayaked. It was a blast. We paddled around this key in about 20 minutes and saw stingrays, ospreys, and crazy jellyfish that float upside down. Not good to land on if you tip over your kayak, I suppose.

On the ride back, dolphins followed us and we saw a baby sea turtle floating on the surface. It was a wonderful trip and a great way to spend our anniversary.
